Tiffin University competed at the Tornado Open, with Trinity Oredina posting the day's best finish in second place.

Oredina, competing at 101 pounds, won four of her five matches to take second. She had a win by fall over Campbellsville in 1:05, posted a 10-0 tech fall victory, pinned Ferrum in 37 seconds and shutout Limestone in another tech fall win 10-0. Her lone loss came against Richlands in a 14-8 decision.

Taylor Hites (155) also placed fourth for TU, picking up a 7-0 win over Ferrum and a pin over Limestone in 4:41. Her lone losses came to Lions 11-0 and Campbellsville 8-0.

Jessie Lee (170) grabbed a number of wins, nipping Adrian 10-8 before falling to Campbellsville 10-0. She then rebounded with two wins over Ferrum, first by 11-0 and then via pin in 1:36. She fell in her final match to Lions 15-2.

Also picking up wins were Savannah Stacks (123) 11-0, 10-0 over Campbellsville, and 12-4 over Lindenwood. Brooke Richards (unattached at 116) also beat Adrian 10-0.
