The Tiffin University volleyball team (6-8, 2-3 GMAC) fell to Wheeling University 3-1.

The Cardinals won 25-21, 25-20, 22-25, and 25-17.

Tiffin was up 6-5 in the first set before Wheeling went on a 4-0 run to take a 10-7 lead. The Dragons countered with a 6-0 run to retake the lead at 17-12. The Cardinals went on to outscore TU 11-3 to take set one 25-21.

Wheeling built a 6-3 lead early in the second set and was up 14-8 midway through the set. Tiffin chipped away at Wheelings' lead, but the Cardinals won set two 25-20.

In the third set, the Cardinals went up 8-5 early. However, the Dragons countered with a 6-1 run to lead 11-9. Both teams battled the rest of the way but a 6-1 run to end the set gave Tiffin the set as they went on to win 25-22.

The Cardinals jumped out to an early 15-5 lead, but the Dragons countered with a 5-1 run to cut the lead down to 16-10. Wheeling went on to win the set 25-17.

Josie Reinhart led the Dragons' offense with 15 kills, a .297 hitting percentage, one block assist, one service ace, and one dig, Alivia Rew had 14 kills with a .423 hitting percentage, three block assists, and two digs, and Taylor Peterson tallied 14 kills, with a .289 hitting percentage, and three digs.
