Volleyball Host Trevecca Nazarene, Kentucky Wesleyan to Close Out Regular Season

The Tiffin University volleyball team will host Trevecca Nazarene on Friday, Nov. 12 with a 7 p.m. start time. Then, the team will play Kentucky Wesleyan on Saturday, Nov. 12 with a 2 p.m. match to close out the regular season.

Dragon Details:

The Dragons went 0-2 last week against Ohio Dominican and Cedarville.

The Dragons are led by Wakaya Wilson who averages 2.65 kills with a .177 hitting percentage and 1.88 digs and teammate Taylor Peterson with 2.30 kills, a .200 hitting percentage, and 1.10 digs. Loryn Huffman averages 9.00 assists, 3.08 digs, and 0.67 kills. Sam Fallis leads the team in digs with 5.23 per set and leads the team in service aces with 24. 

 

Scouting the Trojans:

Trevecca Nazarene went 2-0 last week against Cedarville and Ohio Dominican. 

The Trojans are led by Ellie Buffler with 4.02 kills with a .198 hitting percentage, 1.66 digs, and 0.37 service aces and Austyn Baldwin recorded 2.68 kills with .398 hitting percentage, 0.68 blocks, and 0.82 digs. Chloee McDaniel leads the team with 9.13 assists, 2.46 digs, and 0.56 kills.  

The Dragons lead the all-time series against the Panthers 4-3, with their last meeting coming on Oct. 1, 2021 when the Trojans won 3-1.

 

Scouting the Panthers:

Last time out, Kentucky Wesleyan went 0-2 against Walsh and Ohio Dominican. 

The Panthers are led by Lilly Trump with 2.65 kills with a .128 hitting percentage and 1.30 digs, Nicole Martin averages 2.56 kills with a .175 hitting percentage, 0.55 blocks, and 0.50 digs, and Karrah Cron has a team high 7.46 assists, 2.73 digs, and 0.98 points per set.
