The Tiffin University volleyball team fell 3-0 to conference opponent Cedarville.

The Yellow Jackets improve to 10-12 overall and 7-8 in the GMAC, while the Dragons fall to 11-17 overall and 5-9 in the GMAC.

The Yellow Jackets led 4-1 early in the first set, but the Dragons were able to rally and tie the game at 4-4. Cedarville was able to build a small 10-8 lead but Tiffin went on a 4-1 run to lead 12-11.

The Yellow Jackets responded with a 5-1 run to lead 19-15. CU kept up the pressure and led by 24-20 until the Dragons went on a 4-0 run to tie the game at 24-24, but Cedarville won the next two points to win set one 26-24.

In set two, Cedarville built up another early lead at 6-1 and was able to extend their lead to six at 11-5. The Yellow Jackets' offense was on fire holding a 23-12 lead, but the Dragons had a late 4-0 surge to bring the score to 23-16. Cedarville went on to win set two, 25-16.

In set three, the Dragons built up a 4-2 lead, but the Yellow Jackets countered with a 7-0 run to take a 9-4 lead. The Dragons responded, outscoring Cedarville 5-2 to come within one of the hosts at 11-10. The Dragons slowly chipped away and were able to lead 17-16. Cedarville countered with a 4-0 run to take back the lead 20-17. Tiffin outscored the Yellow Jackets 5-2, tying the game at 22-22. However, Cedarville won the next three points to win the third set 25-22.

Grace Schreiber led the Dragons with five kills, a .105 hitting percentage, 3.5 blocks, and two digs, Brie Wight tallied five kills with a .295 hitting percentage, and 1.5 blocks, and Loryn Huffman had 25 assists, three kills with a .214 hitting percentage, six digs, 1.5 blocks, and two service aces.
