The Tiffin University volleyball team defeated the Lake Erie Storm 3-1 in conference play.  

The Dragons improve to 3-8 on the season and 2-0 in the GMAC, while the Storm fall to 2-8 overall and 0-2 in the GMAC. 

The Dragons jumped out to an early 5-1 lead in the first set, then the Storm rallied back to take a 7-6 lead. Tiffin responded with a 6-2 run to lead 13-9. The Dragons continued to dominate going on a 6-1 run to win the first set 25-17.

Tiffin again started strong, gaining a 4-1 lead early, but Lake Erie went on a 4-0 run to lead 5-4. The Storm then went on a 10-1 run to lead 16-9, forcing a Tiffin timeout. The Dragons had a late surge where they came within three of the Storm but the visitors took the second set 25-19. 

In the third set, Tiffin led by 9-4 early, then went on a 6-0 run to lead 17-8. The Storm countered with a 7-2 run to come within four of the host. However, the Dragons' offense went on a 6-1 run to win the third set 25-16. 

The Storm jumped out to a 6-4 lead early but Tiffin fought back going up by 10-9. That sparked a 9-1 run by the Dragons to lead 19-12. Tiffin was able to outlast the Storm and took the fourth set 25-17. 

The Dragons won with a .252 hitting percentage, tallied 50 kills, 10 blocks, 45 assists, and 80 digs. Wakaya Wilson led the team with 14 kills with a .263 hitting percentage, nine digs, and two blocks, Grace Schreiber tallied eight kills with a .389 hitting percentage, three blocks, one service ace, and one dig. Loryn Huffman registered 41 assists, 15 digs, three kills, and one service ace and teammate Sam Fallis recorded 23 digs and two assists.
