Volleyball team falls 3-0 to University of Indianapolis

The Tiffin University volleyball team lost 3-0 to the University of Indianapolis 25-20, 28-26, 25-15.  

In the first set, the Dragons fell behind 6-3 early but clawed back with a 5-2 run to tie the game at 10-10. The Hounds pulled ahead 14-11 only to have Tiffin tie the game at 14 three points later. After a close game the rest of the way UIndy took the win with a 3-0 finish to take the first set 25-20.

Similar to the second set, the teams went back and forth with the Dragons falling behind then tying the game at 4-4. The Hounds then went on an 11-5 run to lead 15-9. The Dragons chipped away at the host lead, tying the game at 24-24 after an 8-3 run. The Dragons took a 26-25 lead late but UIndy went 3-0 to win the second set 28-26. 

The Hounds jumped out to a 6-3 lead in the third set and the Dragons responded with a 6-2 run to lead 9-8. The Dragons were up 13-11 when the Hounds went on a 3-0 run to take back the lead. Indianapolis then went on a 10-0 run to win the third set 25-15. 

Grace Schreiber led the team in scoring 11.5 points on 9 kills with a .500 hitting percentage, five blocks, and five digs. Wakaya Wilson also had 11.5 points with 10 kills and a .241 hitting percentage, four digs, and three blocks, while teammate Loryn Huffman registered four kills with a .333 hitting percentage, 26 assists, six digs, and two blocks.
