Dragons Post 3-0 Win At Kentucky Wesleyan

The Tiffin University volleyball team won 3-0 against Ky. Wesleyan, winning 25-12, 25-22, 25-23. 

The Dragons improve to 4-1 overall and 4-1 in the conference while the Panthers fall to 1-3 overall and 1-3 in the conference. 

Tiffin had a hot start scoring eight unanswered points, then went on to score five more to lead 13-3. The Dragons held this lead to win the first set 25-12.

It was a close second set as the Panthers tied it a 12-12 but the Dragons went on a 4-0 run to lead 16-12. This was the defining run as Tiffin kept this lead through the rest of the set to win 25-22. 

In the third set, TU came out strong to give them an 8-4 lead, but the Panthers countered with a 6-0 run to lead the Dragons 16-15. The Dragons outscored the Panthers 5-3 in the last points of the third set to win 25-23. 

Zion Richardson led the team scoring 10.5 points with nine kills and two total blocks with a .167 hitting percentage followed by Grace Schreiber who scored 10 points with eight kills, a .400 hitting percentage, two block assists, and one service ace.  

Sam Fallis led the team with 14 digs, one assist, and one block assist. Loryn Huffman led the team with 31 assists, seven digs, three block assists, and one service ace.
