A close three set match went Tiffin University's way as the Dragons took advantage of critical Trevecca Nazarene errors to win 26-24, 25-23, 25-21.

The Dragons (2-0, 2-0 GMAC) benefited from 8 service errors and 4 ball handling errors, giving them enough of an edge in the tightly contested match.

In the opening set, TU built a 23-20 lead but the Trojans rattled off four of the next five points to tie the score at 24-24. A kill by Olivia Karhoff followed by a TNU attack error gave the Dragons the narrow first set victory.

In set two, the score remained close throughout, with TU trailing to start 12-11. The Dragons regrouped for a 10-5 run to pull ahead 21-17, but once again the Trojans rallied late for a 6-3 run to pull to within 24-23. A TNU service error handed the Dragons a 2-0 set lead.

TU bounced back from a .139 attack percentage in set two to hit .220 in set three, racing out to a 24-14 lead. The Trojans tried to rally again, ripping off seven straight points, but another service error cost them the set and the match.

Grace Schreiber hit .353 with 9 kills, while Karhoff also had 9 kills with 9 digs. 

Alivia Rew totaled 8 kills followed by Alicia Kessler with 6 kills. Loryn Huffman finished with 32 assists, and Sam Fallis had 18 digs.
