TIFFIN, Ohio - After taking a week off from conference action at the Midwest Crossover, Tiffin returns home this Friday to host Cedarville in a battle of top GMAC squads.

Dragon Details:

Tiffin encountered a bump in the road at the Midwest Crossover, dropping their three games to Ashland, Indianapolis, and Bellarmine. The Dragons have not had trouble against conference foes, however, entering the weekend at 5-1 with the only loss coming to No. 16 Hillsdale and four of the five wins finishing as 3-0 sweeps.

TU has a favorable remaining schedule as well, with six of their final seven matches coming at home in the Gillmor Center.

As a team, the Dragons are second in the GMAC only to Hillsdale in kills, assists, and digs. Tiffin is also fourth in hitting percentage.

Jenna Huffman paces Tiffin by ranking first in the conference and second in the nation with 4.50 kills per set and 5.13 points per set. She has also amassed more kills than any other Division II volleyball player at this point in the season with 369.

Loryn Huffman is fourth in the GMAC with 9.94 assists per game, while Sam Fallis is third with 4.59 digs per contest.

Scouting the Yellow Jackets:

Cedarville enters the week tied with Tiffin for third in the conference at 5-1 while holding a 13-7 overall record. Similarly to Tiffin, their only GMAC loss is to Hillsdale, but only one of their five conference victories was a sweep.

The Yellow Jackets went 2-1 at the Midwest Crossover, defeating Bellarmine and Northern Michigan while falling to No. 24 Michigan Tech, all in close matches. Cedarville also played another nonconference match on Tuesday, sweeping Urbana.

Cedarville's strengths lie in serving and blocking, as they are first in the GMAC and 14th nationally with 2.13 aces per set and second in the conference with 1.97 blocks per set. They are also fourth in both kills per set and assists per set.

Lauren Willow and Liene Miller lead the Yellow Jackets up front, as Willow ranks second in the conference with a .345 hitting percentage and ninth with 3.13 kills per set and Miller is second with 4.12 kills per set. Willow is also third in the GMAC with .45 aces per set and 1.04 blocks per set.

Setter Sierra Schuitema is second in the conference with 10.36 assists per set, while Emily Ward leads the team at 3.55 digs per set.
