Berry, Blair, Croy lead women's outdoor G-MAC honorees

Miaisha Blair and Nicole Berry joined Head Coach Jeremy Croy in taking top honors, as the G-MAC announced its Outdoor Track and Field All Conference team.

The Great Midwest Field Athlete of the Year was Tiffin senior jumper Miaisha Blair following her field athlete of the meet award also earned at Hillsdale. Blair won the triple jump competition during the conference championships with a distance of 11.37m.
 
Blair also won the long jump with a distance of 5.63m while narrowly missing the provisional qualifying mark. 
 
The Great Midwest Freshman of the Year was Tiffin thrower Nicole Berry. With ease, Berry stepped into the forefront as the new conference shot put record holder, doing so at the Mt. SAC Relays out in California. 
 
She then broke the conference meet record with a distance of 15.44m at Hillsdale and also possesses the sixth-best distance in conference history in the discus throw. Berry was also the freshman of the meet at the conference championships. 

Croy earned coaching honors by winning both conference championship trophies at Findlay (indoor) and Hillsdale (outdoor). The team is sending 14 men and three women out to nationals in Texas. 

A total of 13 Lady Dragons were honored with All G-MAC accolades. Landing First Team nods after winning individual outdoor titles were Rajiah Andrews (100 hurdles, 4x100), Nicole Berry (shot put), Miaisha Blair (triple jump), Tatiyana Cooper-Laylor (4x100), Marisa Gwinner (high jump), Brittany Holbrook (4x100), Alexya Peoples (4x100), and Jazilee Williams (heptathlon).

Taking home Second Team honors were Kirsten Camp (heptathlon), Shalbe Evans (long jump), and Mercedeez Francis (high jump).

Third Team awards went to Emma Gielink (triple jump) and Madeline Hayes (pole vault).
