Lady Dragons compete in California meets

Tiffin University hit the road for multiple outdoor meets this week, competing at the Cal St. LA, Long Beach State, and Mt. Sac Relays as well as at the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, California.
 
The Dragons hit three provisional marks at the Cal State LA Twilight Open. Nicole Berry won in the shot put with a provisional mark of 15.21 meters, while Brenda Johnson finished 3rd, hitting another provisional mark of 13.82 meters. Dalaney Rogala also won in the High jump, hitting the NCAA mark of 1.69m.
 
Other top marks came from Madeline Hayes finishing 2nd in the pole vault with 3.50m and Mercedeez Francis taking 6th in the high jump at the Twilight Open.  Shalbe Evans placed 6th in the triple jump at the Beach Invitational.
 
Jazilee Williams finished 6th in the Heptathlon with 4474 points and Miaisha Blair finished 28th in the triple jump at the Bryan Clay Invitational.
 
TU's team of Tatiyana Cooper-Laylor, Brittany Holbrook, Rajiah Andrews, and Alexya Peoples also finished 17th in the 4x100m relay at the  Bryan Clay Invitational.
