Dragons continue strong outdoor season with win at Emory Invite

Tiffin University's women's track and field team finished strong at the Emory Classic, hitting three more provisional marks en route to a first place finish.
 
Tiffin finished 1st of 29 teams, edging out host Emory 104-96. The Dragons were led by a number of provisional marks on the day.
 
Nicole Berry performed outstandingly at the meet by hitting dual provisional marks. She won the discus with an NCAA provisional mark of 45.79m while also winning the shot put with a provisional mark of 15.56m.
 
Another NCAA mark was hit by Brenda Johnson, who placed second in the shot put competition with a mark of 14.15m.
 
Coming in second at the Invite was Brittany Holbrook in the 100 meters (12.07),  Miaisha Blair in the Triple Jump (11.26m), and Briana Streib in Discus Throw (40.36m). 
 
Madeline Hayes finished 3rd in the Pole vault with (3.60m). Emma Gielink finished 4th in triple jump and 6th in 100m Hurdles.
