Lady Dragons open outdoor season at Miami Blizzard Buster

Tiffin University's women's track and field team had a number of standout achievements at the Miami Blizzard Buster hosted by Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
 
The Lady Dragons hit three provisional marks at the invite.  Madeline Hayes won in the pole vault with an NCAA provisional mark of 3.67m.
 
Nicole Berry placed 2nd in the shot put, hitting the NCAA provisional mark with 14.41m. She also placed 9th in the Hammer throw.
 
Another NCAA provisional mark was hit by Marisa Gwinner in the high jump, as she won the event with 1.71m. 
 
Emma Gielink finished 2nd in the Triple Jump (11.64m) while Miaisha Blair finished 4th in the Triple Jump.
 
Third place finishes were Brenda Johnson in the shot put (13.63m) and Haleigh Hubbell in the Discus (31.02m).
 
Dalaney Rogala finished 4th in the high jump (1.65m). Courtney Brown finished 5th in javelin and Destiny Sandlin finished 5th in 400m hurdles. 
 
Kirsten Camp placed 8th in long jump and 100m hurdles, while Allison Abke finished 8th in the pole vault.
 
TU's team of Chloe Liebold, Tierra Cotten, Ashlin Lindsey, and Julia Springer also finished 5th in 4x800m relay.
