Lady Dragons open season at Alumni Open

Tiffin University's women's track and field squad had 4 provisional marks and 3 first place finishes, as they opened their indoor track season at the Tiffin Alumni Open.
 
The NCAA provisional marks were hit by Marisa Gwinner in winning the high jump with a mark of 1.73m, Lydia DePrey winning the pole vault with a mark of 3.57m, Brenda Johnson winning the shot put competition with a mark of 14.95m, and Nicole Berry placing fourth in the shot with a mark of 14.25m.
 
Madison Doss also posted a win in the 500 meters in 1:20.77. 
 
Coming in second at the Open was Rajiah Andrews in the 60-meter hurdles in 2:02.92, Rebecca O'Connor in 800m, Kirsten Camp in the Long jump (5.27m) and Emma Gielink in the Triple Jump (11.31m).
 
Picking up third place finishes were Miaisha Blair in the Triple Jump (11.22m), Madeline Hayes in the Pole vault (3.42m) and Holbrook in the 60m (7.76). 
 
The Dragons relay team finished second in the 4x400 with a time of 4:05.71.
