Tiffin University (11-3) came up just short against perennial power Tampa 4-3 in its final spring break match.

TU just missed getting a critical point after doubles play. Allessandra Maganuco/Anaelle Lepinay pulled out a slim win over Ekaterina Grib/Savannah Williams 7-5 but came up just short at second doubles where Maria Khomchenko/Anine Wilberg defeated Carina Avram/Emily Barrett 7-5. The deciding match went to Tampa when Maeva Roquebert/Corbin Dorsey clipped Jessica Peace/Shea Foster 6-3.

The two teams split the singles matches. Ekaterina Grib beat TU's Emily Barrett 6-3, 6-2, while Tampa's Maeva Roquebert also beat Carina Avram 7-6, 6-0. Tiffin's Emily Young pulled out a tough three-set victory over Maria Khomchenko 3-6, 6-3, 10-5, while Allessandra Maganuco also won a marathon match over Anine Wilberg 4-6, 6-4, 10-7. Tampa's Savannah Williams sealed the victory with a win over Anaelle Lepinay 6-4, 6-3. TU's Jessica Peace got TU's final point by beating Corbin Dorsey 8-1.
