Dragons Defeat Lake Erie 1-0 on Senior Day

The Tiffin University women's soccer team beat conference opponent Lake Erie 1-0.

The Dragons improve to 4-3-1 overall and 4-3-1 in the conference while the Strom drop to 0-7 overall and 0-7 in the conference.  

Before the start of today's game, the Tiffin women's soccer program honored its six-member senior class made up of Nahomi Lopez, Lauryn Grcic, Lily Cady, Michaela PutnamAnna Lamaj and Leila Hannaoui

Despite going into the half 0-0 the Dragons outplayed the Storm in every statistical category in the first half including shots 10-3, shots on goal 6-2, and corner kicks 5-1. 

Tiffin continued to control the game and was rewarded, with Kristen Dickison scoring a goal off a pass from Kristen Walker at the 58:48 mark to lead 1-0. 

The Dragons kept this lead through the rest of the game and outshot the Storm 17-5 to get their fourth win of the season and move into fifth in the conference tied with Cedarville and Malone.
