Lanie is a graduate of Columbia High School. While attending, she was awarded twice Lorain County Division-3 player of the year 2015 and 2016. Lanie was part of All-Ohio second Team 2017, and also part of three-years (2015,2016, and 2017) winners of greater Cleveland First team, Detroit Athletic Conference First team, and Lorain County Division-3 First team. Lanie has academic honors, Honors Diploma, High Honor Rolls, and Presidents Award.
