TU comeback comes up short 3-2 at Findlay

The Tiffin University women's soccer team played a close away game, coming up just short in their comeback attempt in falling to Findlay 3-2.
 
All five goals occurred in the second half of the game after Findlay dominated the first half with a 9-2 advantage in shots and 4-0 on corner kicks. Shelby Haworth made six saves for Tiffin in the 1st half. 
 
The Oilers found the net in the 51st minute of the 2nd half, as Paige Casto scored the first goal of the game. Tiffin came right back 2 minutes later, as Alli McCabe found the equalizer goal in the 53rd minute.
 
With the score tied 1-1, the game's pace picked up even more. In the 57th and 82nd minutes, Findlay doubled their lead with two goals from Megan Kupetz.
 
Tiffin got the deficit back to one goal from Alli McCabe's second goal, assisted by Kaelyn Harkness in the 86th minute, but the Dragons could not manage another shot as time expired.
 
The Oilers fired 18 shots in total, compared to 9 for the Dragons. Haworth saved 8 shots in total, while UF also held a 7-0 edge in corner kicks. 
 
Tiffin falls to 2-13-1 overall and 2-9-1 in the conference.
 
Tiffin will be back in action on October 20 for their next home game against Ohio Valley.
