Dragons post 3-0 shutout of Battlers

Tiffin University women's soccer team was on the road for a conference game against Alderson Broaddus on Saturday, and the road was kind to the Dragons, as they notched a 3-0 win over the Battlers. 
 
The Dragons came out strong against the Battlers and were able to score the first goal of the game in the 27th minute. Kaelyn Harkness was the goal scorer for Tiffin off a pass from Alli McCabe. The first period ended with TU holding a 1-0 advantage.
 
In the first minute of the 2nd half, the Dragons were able to find the back of the net again, this time by Abby Morillon off another assist from Alli McCabe. Later in the 73rd minute, Alli McCabe put the ball past the Alderson Broaddus goalie to help secure the win for the Tiffin Dragons by extending the lead to 3-0.
 
Overall, the Dragons dominated 17-14 on shots over the Battlers including allowing just 5 shots on goal. They also held a narrow 4-3 edge in corner kicks. In goal, Shelby Haworth picked up the win with 5 saves in the game.
 
The Dragons are now 2-11-1 overall and 2-8-1 in the conference.
