The Tiffin University women's soccer team made it two wins in a row, dropping the Huskies of Michigan Tech University 2-1 in overtime.

The 1st half saw zero offense from either team, but there were plenty of shots. The Dragons fired six shots with three on goal. The Huskies finished the half with eight shots with five coming on goal.

Both teams got the ball rolling on the offensive end in the 2nd half. Tiffin struck first, netting a goal in the 55th minute. Adrianna Currie did it all by herself, slicing into the box and sending a shot past the Huskies' keeper to give Tiffin a 1-0 lead. Michigan Tech tied the score in the 70th minute, beating Tiffin's goalkeeper to the upper left corner of the goal. The score remained tied for the remainder of the half, sending the two teams to overtime.

The Dragons didn't mess around in overtime, scoring the winning goal in less than five minutes of game time. Taylor Lewis took a pass from Adrianna Currie and chipped the ball over the keeper's head to rattle the cage for the final time. The assist was credited to Adrianna Currie, giving her three points in the game.

Currie now has a team high seven goals this season, 6th most in the GLIAC. The assist on the game winning goal gives her four this season. The goal by Taylor Lewis is her third of the season. Samantha Ortenzi earned the win in goal, stopping 12 shots in 94 minutes of action.

The Dragons now sit 5-8-1 overall and 4-3 in the GLIAC. Tiffin will get some home cooking this coming weekend as they host Northwood and Saginaw Valley State on Friday and Sunday respectively.
