Adrianna Currie scored both goals for the Dragons, giving Tiffin their first win of the season.

It has been a fight for Tiffin since the start of the season, falling in two games by one goal, and suffering a double overtime draw to start their season. But on Friday night, it was Tiffin pulling through, netting the game winning goal in overtime to drop the RedHawks of Roberts Wesleyan College 2-1.

The RedHawks started the scoring, taking a 1-0 lead in the 21st minute. Tiffin, having trailed in every game this season, continued to work hard on the offensive end and in the 37th minute Adrianna Currie struck with a low shot from eight yards out to tie the score 1-1. Svetlana Gudenkova and Markella Suka were credited with the assists on the Currie's goal.

At the break, Tiffin had fired seven shots, with four coming on goal. Goalkeeper Samantha Ortenzi kept the RedHawks off the board, facing eight shots in the 1st half.

The second half was a defensive struggle, with Tiffin managing only three shots. Roberts Wesleyan fired seven shots, but Ortenzi was there to turn the RedHawks away. The game moved into overtime tied 1-1.

The Dragons, having played one overtime game earlier this season, were ferocious on the offensive end. Tiffin totaled four shots in the extra period, but it was their last one that counted. Once again, it was Adrianna Currie to the rescue, taking a pass from Sierra Besecker and delivering the game winning goal with a low shot from four yards out.

Currie finished the game with two goals on four shots. The assists by Suka and Gudenkova are their first of the season. Besecker's overtime assist is her second of the year. Ortenzi earned the win in goal, saving three shots.

The Dragons move to 1-2-1 overall and will look to finish their road trip on a high note, traveling to take on Daemen College on Sunday.
