Tiffin University had a big day on the mat, going 2-0 at the Regional Duals in the Heminger Center.

TU defeated Notre Dame 40-3 before shutting out Bluefield State 57-0.

The Dragons won the first nine weight classes against Notre Dame. Lance Crawford (133 pounds) posted a 7-4 decision, while Matt Zuckerman (149) had a major decision 9-1. Casey Barnett (157) also won a slim 9-7 decision.

Connor Twigg (174) kept the wins coming with an 8-2 victory, while Iran Love (184) had a 3-2 win and Jake Noon (197) won by fall in 27 seconds. Branden Mendoza (125), Christopher Oleksiak (141), and Dylan Mansor (165) all had wins by forfeit.

Tiffin's sole loss came at 285 pounds where Clayton Ours lost a narrow 3-1 decision.

Against Bluefield State, the Dragons dominated with four falls and three tech falls along with three forfeits.

Crawford had a win via fall in 2:26, while Zackary Donathan (141) got a pin in 31 seconds, Barnett got the pin in 2:20, and Noon won by fall in 2:08.

Winning by tech fall were Mendoza 16-0, Zuckerman 23-7, and Twigg 18-0. Mansor, Love, and Ours got wins by forfeit.
