Tiffin University picked up a 26-24 G-MAC victory over Lake Erie in its first home action of the season.

The Dragons opened with a strong 125-pound win from Branden Mendoza, who posted an 18-3 tech fall victory. Lake Erie bounced back with a close 5-3 win at 133 pounds over Jack Collins.

The Strorm took a 9-5 lead with a win via fall over Christopher Oleksiak at 141 pounds, but Matt Zuckerman (149) brought the score back to a 9-8 deficit with a thrilling 3-1 win in sudden victory.

Casey Barnett got a forfeit win at 157 pounds, but Lake Erie bounced back with a 7-0 win over Dylan Mansor (165) and a pin in 52 seconds over Connor Twigg (174).

The difference came over the final three weight classes, where TU benefited from two forfeit victories. Iran Love III (184) and Clayton Ours (285) got forfeit wins, offsetting a loss by pin in 4:41 by Geraldo Moya (197).
