Tiffin University had three placers at the Midwest Classic in Indianapolis, Indiana, led by a 4th-place finish by Casey Barnett.

Barnett (157 pounds) battled his way through the consolation rounds, opening with three wins on day two. He had a medical forfeit over Indianapolis, then won 9-2 over Notre Dame and 18-11 over Gannon. He fell in the third-place match to Colorado Mesa by fall in 1:53.

Branden Mendoza (125) finished 6th overall. After going 3-0 on day one, Mendoza could not pick up a win on day two. He fell in a narrow 5-3 decision to UNC-Pembroke, then was pinned in 4:05 by Lander. In his final match, he fell 6-5 to Central Oklahoma.

Clayton Ours (285) also placed, taking 8th. He opened with a 3-1 win over Southwest Minnesota State, but then lost by slim margins to UW-Parkside 6-5 and 3-1 in sudden victory to Notre Dame.
