Dragons compete at Greyhound Open

Tiffin University had a handful of wrestlers competing at the Greyhound Open hosted by the University of Indianapolis.

Three TU grapplers made extended runs in the consolation rounds.

Caden Crawford (125 pounds) opened with a 6-2 win over Indiana Tech before getting pinned in 2:13 by Wabash. He then bounced back for two wins - 6-0 over Calumet and 9-2 over Wabash before falling in 1:54 to Calumet.

Geraldo Moya (197) was pinned in 4:31 by Bellarmine but then posted two victories. He won 8-3 over UIndy and 6-1 over Marian-Ancilla. He then fell in 2:27 to Purdue.

Jake Noon (285) opened with a 5-4 win over Wabash but then was pinned in 1:54 by Monrovia WC. He responded with a pin fall victory in 1:00 over Indianapolis and a slim 3-2 win over McKendree. He finished his day with a loss by fall in 2:41 to Wabash.

Ryan Tucker (149) and Sean Robles (285) all lost by fall, while Bryson Cole (149) lost twice via tech falls.
