Tiffin University fell in two matches at the NWCA National Duals in Louisville, Kentucky.

Tiffin opened with a 30-13 loss to Upper Iowa and then fell to McKendree 35-9. 

Matthew Zuckerman (141 pounds) and Nicholas Mason (197) both finished the day unbeaten. 

Zuckerman posted two dramatic victories, notching a 6-5 win over Upper Iowa while winning in sudden victory 5-3 over McKendree.

Mason got two wins via pin, flattening Upper Iowa in 6:40 before coming from behind to beat McKendree by fall in 2:37.

Branden Mendoza (125) also got a win against Upper Iowa with an 8-1 score.

A number of Dragons had narrow losses against Upper Iowa. Dylan Mansor (157) fell by a 2-1 score, while Nicolas Smythe (174) suffered a 6-4 setback. Kian Thompson (184) also lost by a 5-0 margin.

Against McKendree, Bryce Allison (133) lost a tight match 5-4, while David Henson (285) also fell 5-2.
