2021-22:

Mason went 30-7 with 19 falls, 40 takedowns and 200 points...is the NCAA Division II national falls champion... pulled out a dramatic pinfall victory to take third place at the NCAA Division II National Championships, marking his third All American honor...named Second Team All GMAC, his third all-conference honor...is TU's all-time pins leader with 84 and finishes 2nd in career wins with 117 and 3rd in career points with 1874.5. 

2020-21:

Mason won another Region Championship in qualifying for the NCAA National Championships. He also won the GMAC Championship at 197 pounds and was a First Team honoree. He led the team with 143 points and went 7-2 with 7 takedowns, 9 escapes, and 6 pins. 

2019-20:

Mason was NWCA All American, winning the Region Championship to head to Nationals. He is a two-time Nationals and three-time Regional qualifier who also earned a First Team All Conference nod. He finished 25-6 with 515 points.

2018-19:

Mason had one of the greatest seasons in TU history, winning the NCAA Division II 197 pound championship as well as the Midwest Region title. He was also unbeaten in G-MAC competition. He posted a 27-7 record en route to Tiffin's second individual national champion honor. He was also the national Falls Leader, placing high in the national stat categories throughout the season. He is also the first ever 197 pound regional champion for Tiffin. He also had 40 takedowns, 30 escapes, and 504.5 points.

2017-18:

Mason showed tremendous improvement in his sophomore campaign, finishing the year 21-12 with 33 takedowns, 31 escapes (tied for third on team), 32 reversals (led team), and a pair of pins. Mason showed well at the Midwest Regional, finishing sixth in his weight class.

2016-17:

Mason finished 6-8 overall on the mat with 20 takedowns and 18 escapes. 

Personal:

Nicholas is a native of Shelby Township, Michigan and is majoring in Homeland Security. He is the son of Edward and Barb and has one sibling.

High School:

Nicholas graduated from Utica High School. While attending, he was a 2-time state qualifier, taking 5th his senior year.
