Erica Brown has resigned as Head Coach of the Tiffin University women's lacrosse program.

Brown coached 10 seasons for Tiffin, guiding the team to nine straight conference tournament appearances (no conference tourney in 2019-20 due to Covid-19 pandemic) and has a career record of 89-80.

In the 2020-21 season Brown led the Dragons to a three-way tie at the top of the GMAC standings. She has coached numerous All Conference standouts, including 50 selections in the last seven seasons. In TU's first year in the GMAC in 2019, she led the Dragons to the regular-season conference championship with a perfect 7-0 record and earned a spot in the GMAC title game. Brown was named conference Coach of the Year. She led the Dragons to three straight GLIAC Tournament Championship game appearances from 2013-2015.

Tiffin also excelled academically as the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association recognized the squad for having the best GPA in NCAA Division II in 2013. The team routinely appears amongst national leaders in GPA each season.

"I want to thank Coach Erica Brown for her many years of service on and off the field," said Athletic Director Lonny Allen. "She has made an impact on our campus, community, and especially the student-athletes she has guided. She leaves as the winningest head women's lacrosse coach but the relationships that she built are much more important. I wish her the best of success in her future endeavors."

"I want to thank Lonny Allen and the administration at Tiffin University for giving me the chance to coach there," said Brown. "I cherish the amazing relationships with the players over the years, and want to thank the alumni, players, and families for being supportive. I am excited for the future of the program."
