Tiffin University (5-13) fell to Walsh 20-3 in the GMAC Tournament semifinals.

The Cavaliers started strong, scoring the first seven goals of the game before the Dragons got on the board in the second quarter when Cassidy Kumiega scored off a pass from Daniela Carey.

Walsh did not allow another goal in the first half, leading 12-1 at the break.

Tiffin got its other two goals in the third quarter, as Carey and Jenny Bates picked up unassisted goals.

Overall TU was outshot 36-13 while the Cavaliers also won the ground ball battle 22-9. TU committed 17 turnovers while Walsh turned it over only 6 times.

Carey finished with a goal and assist.

Jenay Rennie took the loss in goal, making 9 saves in 60 minutes.
