Tiffin University (4-7, 3-1 GMAC) picked up an important conference victory, defeating Findlay for the second time this season by a 17-10 margin.

The win puts the Dragons in a tie with Walsh with a 3-1 GMAC mark, though the Cavaliers have beaten TU 13-11 in their lone matchup this season. The Dragons will take on the Cavaliers on May 2 in their regular season finale.

Against the Oilers, Findlay jumped out to a 4-3 lead early. With 15:00 left in the half, TU responded with four straight goals before halftime, with Elle Hamilton, Daniela Carey, Rylee Sutherland, and Jenny Bates all scoring.

As the second half started, TU continued its scoring streak, tallying three more goals. Danielle Roberts, Hamilton, and Leah Davis all scored to push TU's lead to 10-4.

Over the next 12 minutes, the Dragons continued to press their attack, scoring four more goals to go up 14-5 with 12:00 left and effectively end the game.

Overall Findlay led in shots 31-30, but TU won the draws 17-12 and the ground balls 24-21. They also held Findlay to just 5 of 12 on free position shots, while TU went 4 for 6.

Davis led the way with 4 goals, an assist, and 7 draws, while Carey also had 4 goals and an assist with 4 draws.

Hamilton picked up 3 goals, an assist, 7 ground balls, and 4 draws, while Roberts had 3 goals, Bates had 2, and Sutherland had a goal and assist.

Jenay Rennie got the win in goal, making 16 saves over 60 minutes.
