The Tiffin University women's lacrosse team split their season series with the University of Indianapolis on Sunday afternoon, falling 15-13. The Dragons, sitting 25th in the nation, have lost three of their last four after winning five straight games.

The Dragons got off to a nice start on Sunday, scoring the first goal of the game just a little over a minute into the contest. A minute later Tiffin made it 2-0 with a goal from Amanda Flotteron. Amie Morrison made it 3-0 with a free position goal with 23:53 left in the opening half. Indianapolis got on the board shortly after Tiffin's third goal, but Tiffin then reeled off three straight goals to hold a 6-1 lead with 14:37 remaining. Indianapolis gained ground on Tiffin as the half came to a close, outscoring Tiffin 4-0 to trail 6-5 at the break.

The Greyhounds opened the half with a pair of goals to take their first lead of the game at 7-6. The Dragons tied the score a short time later, but Indianapolis kept the heat on Tiffin, going on a 6-0 run to hold a 13-7 lead. The Dragons' attack kept pressing, and slowly began to turn the tide as they used a 6-2 run to trail 15-13 with 1:36 remaining in the half. Tiffin managed only one shot over the course of the final 90 seconds, as the Greyhounds managed to hold on to their 15-13 lead.

Individually the Dragons were led by Elle MacMillan with four goals. Amanda Flotteron finished with three goals, and Elle Hamilton also posted three goals. Kat Schneeberger took the loss in goal, allowing 15 goals while recording 11 saves. From a team standpoint the Greyhounds held a lead in shots 38-26, ground balls 15-14, and forced Tiffin into 15 turnovers.

Tiffin sits 8-6 overall and 5-4 in GLIAC play.
