With the Cardinals leading 2-1 at the 17:01 mark, Tiffin made their move. They scored five straight goals to close out the half, with Tori Nelson getting 2 goals and Morgan Sherley and Amanda Flotteron tallying a goal and assist. TU led 6-2 at the break.
After WJU got a quick goal at 25:34 to open the second half, the Dragons' offense exploded for 7 consecutive goals. Flotteron opened and closed the run with goals, while Maddy Batley came off the bench for two more goals. TU amassed a 13-3 lead with 16:08 remaining to effectively put away the game.
