Tiffin University took the top spot at the SVSU Spring Invitational, posting the best round of the entire 17 team field.

The Dragons registered their second title of the 2020-21 season, firing a 305 which combined with their round one score of 312 to finish with 617. That was 12 strokes better than runner-ups Wayne State and Northwood, which finished with 629.

Emily Koehler and Alice Putoud had the round's best improvement, with Koehler chopping 8 strokes off her score (83-75) while Putoud improved by 5 (79-74). Overall Putoud shot 153 and matched teammates Alexis Savage (76-77) and Bella Harris (74-79) with 153 scores, all tying for 6th overall. Koehler finished with 158, while Jordan Van Meter shot 84-89 for 173.

Amanda Johansson also shot 161 as an individual, finishing 27th overall.

TU's 305 round was only one stroke off their season-best 304 shot at the Cumberland Trail Golf Classic on Sept. 19.
