For the first time in their history, Tiffin University's women's golf team has received votes in the national WGCA Division II poll.

Tiffin University joins Findlay as the only GMAC schools represented in the poll. Findlay is ranked 4th in the poll.

The Dragons have enjoyed a strong start to their 2019-20 season. They have two teams wins - the Ohio Dominican Invitational and the Panther Invitational hosted by Davenport University. They also have a runner-up finish at the GMAC Fall Invite.

Amanda Johansson was also recently named GMAC Golfer of the Week after her medalist performance at Davenport last week.

After winning Great Midwest Freshman of the Year in 2018-19, Johansson has three top-10 finishes and a medalist victory to start her sophomore campaign.

"I'm very proud of our results from our team this fall," said Head Coach Brittany Davidson. "It was great to have two team wins this fall and also an individual win from Amanda Johnansson. We are looking forward to getting to work in the offseason for an even stronger spring."
