The Tiffin University women's basketball team fell to Northwood University 56-39. The Timberwolves made their hay from the charity stripe, holding a 17-4 advantage over the Dragons.

The Dragons started like a house on fire over the course of the first 02:30 of the opening quarter, jumping out to a 7-0 lead. Tiffin quickly fizzled out for the remainder of the quarter, being outscored 13-4 by the Timberwolves and trailing Northwood 13-11.

Northwood kept their foot on the gas in the 2nd quarter, using a 7-0 run to open the quarter to lead 20-11. The Dragons shot their way back into the game, nailing three triples over the course of the final 03:37 of the 2nd quarter. Tiffin headed to the halftime locker room down 23-22.

The Timberwolves doubled up Tiffin in points in the 3rd quarter, scoring 8 of their 14 points in the paint. The 4th quarter didn't go much better for Tiffin, as Northwood outscored the Dragons 19-10, doing the majority of their damage from the free throw stripe. The Timberwolves attempted 18 free throws in the final quarter, while Tiffin managed only 24 total field goal attempts in the 2nd half. In the end it was Northwood coming out on top 56-39.

Annie Santucci led Tiffin with 13 points off the bench. Kiley May scored 11 points, grabbed three boards, and dished out a pair of assists.
