Tiffin To Host Pride and Lakers

The Tiffin University women's basketball team will host Purdue University Northwest on Thursday night, and then will take on Grand Valley State Saturday afternoon.

Purdue Northwest: The Pride are 2-10 overall this season and 1-6 in the GLIAC. They're led in scoring by Shae Rhonehouse with 11.4 points per game. Ellie Michalski is the only other player in double figures for the Pride, scoring 10.3 points per game on 45.9% shooting from the field. Michalski is also the top rebounder for Purdue Northwest, collecting 9.5 per game which ranks 2nd in the GLIAC.

Tiffin: The Dragons are 5-10 overall and 1-6 in the GLIAC. Tiffin is led in scoring by Ali Schirmer with 12 points per game. Aida Martin and Cynthia Concepcion have been steady contributors for Tiffin, combining to net 14.9 points per game. Freshman Annie Santucci has done a nice job off the bench for Tiffin, averaging 7.1 points per game in 16 minutes of action.

Schirmer: Tiffin junior Ali Schirmer is having a career year, setting career highs in shooting percentage (39.5%), free throw percentage (100%), points per game (12.0), rebounds per game (3.3), and assist to turnover ratio (1.2).

Last Time Out: The Pride fell in their last contest by the final count of 91-66 to Northwood University. The Pride surrendered 14 three pointers to the Timberwolves and 50.7% shooting from the field.
