Tiffin University (25-14, 15-7 G-MAC) staged a two-out, 7th inning comeback on Senior Day to pull out a 4-3 game one victory, eventually splitting with Lake Erie at Paradiso Fields.

After the dramatic 4-3 comeback, Tiffin fell in the nightcap 5-0.

Senior Tiffany Snell started game one, marking her lone appearance this season after sitting out with an injury. She tossed a scoreless first inning before being replaced by Victoria Edwards

The Dragons got a run in the first inning as Libby Crow singled, stole second, and came home on Hayley Kobie's RBI single.

Lake Erie responded by chipping away with solo runs in the second, third, and fifth to lead 3-1 entering the bottom of the 6th inning.

TU got a run closer in the 6th inning. Chloe Swaisgood singled, with Lexi Potapczak coming in to pinch run. Gabrielle Hess walked, with both runners being sacrificed up a base. Abbey Zedaker then hit a sacrifice fly to right field to make it 3-2.

With two outs in the bottom of the 7th inning, Crow walked and moved to second on a wild pitch. Kobie then came through with a bullet single to tie the game 3-3. Chelsey Trusty pinch ran and moved to second on a wild pitch, setting the stage for Swaisgood to end the game with another rocket single and a thrilling 4-3 victory.

Edwards got the win with 6 innings of work, fanning 8 and allowing 3 earned runs. Swaisgood had 3 hits in the game, while Kobie and Zedaker had 2 hits apiece.

In the nightcap, Sarah Klein took the loss, allowing 8 hits and 4 earned runs over 7 innings. The Storm tallied 3 runs in the 4th inning and 2 more in the 5th.

The Dragons threatened early as Jamie Sevenish singled and stole second, but she was gunned down at home after Crow's single to end the threat.

Tiffin had another golden opportunity in the 5th inning when the Dragons had runners on 2nd and 3rd with one out, but two fly outs again ended the threat.

Swaisgood again had 2 hits but was the only TU player with multiple hits. Kaylee Savage had a double for the lone extra base hit.

In between games, the Dragons honored their four seniors on Senior Day - Sevenish, Crow, McKenzie Frame, and Snell.
