Tiffin University will host two G-MAC rivals from Canton, Ohio this weekend at Paradiso Fields.

The Dragons (15-12, 7-5 G-MAC) will face Malone (14-8, 6-4) on Saturday at 1 pm before tangling with Walsh (8-24, 4-6) on Sunday at 1 pm. The Dragons are looking to move up in the crowded G-MAC standings, with Malone sitting in 3rd currently. Tiffin is 6th while Walsh trails in 10th place.

Malone brings a potent offense to the plate. Overall the Pioneers are 2nd in the conference in batting at .330 and 3rd in slugging at .472. They average 9.4 hits per game (2nd) and 5.2 runs per game (4th). The Pioneers need that offense to carry them, as their pitching has not been as dominant. They are 7th in ERA at 3.77 and are allowing 5.06 runs per game (7th). They are also 10th in hits per game allowed (9.58) and 10th in fielding (.947).

Malone has one of the top hitters in the conference in Bailey Byers. She is 2nd in average at .493 as well as 2nd in slugging (1.014) and home runs (9). Malone is also led at the plate by Madison Corrick (.373) and Serena Tucciarelli (.364). 

On the mound Kelsey Byers leads the way with a 10-3 mark. She is 10th in ERA (2.88) and leads the G-MAC in wins with 10. She is also 3rd in strikeouts per game (6.77) and 4th in runs per game (3.13).

Walsh, meanwhile, has struggled with both their hitting and pitching this season. They are hitting just .277 as a team and are 10th in on base pct. (.341). They are next to last in runs allowed and hits allowed per game.

Katelyn Loughman is the top hitter for the Cavaliers, sporting a .280 clip, while Jessie Rock is next at .276. Alison Harper is the top pitcher, holding a 5-11 record over 15 starts with a 6.12 ERA.

The Dragons are looking to put a win streak together over the final weeks of the season. They are currently 3rd in batting with .306 as well as 3rd in on base percentage (.379) and in walks. They lead the G-MAC with 2.93 walks per game. TU also holds their own in the circle, sitting 4th in ERA (3.38), 4th in strikeouts per game (4.97) and 3rd in runs per game (4.38).

Libby Crow is having a strong year, ranking 7th in batting at .427, while Hayley Kobie is 3rd in on base percentage at .532. Jamie Sevenish is 6th in runs scored while Sarah Klein is 3rd in ERA at 2.19.

Overall Kobie is also batting .390, while Sevenish (.354), Heidi Marshall (.341), and Brooke Lambert (.312) all have been strong at the plate. Klein sports a 9-6 overall record.
