Dragons place 3rd at GMAC Championships; 4 land All GMAC honors

Tiffin University finished 3rd of 10 teams at the GMAC Championships hosted by Cedarville University.

Walsh won the title with 30 points followed by Cedarville with 66 and the Dragons with 89. Tiffin's 3rd place finish is their highest Division II conference finish in school history.

Anthony Nickerson and Nathaniel Ondracek were the top two finishers for TU, with both placing in the top 6 to earn First Team All GMAC honors. Nickerson was 5th in 24:50.0 while Ondracek took 6th in 24:52.3.

Jaylen Lasseter was another Top 20 placer for the Dragons, finishing 19th in 25:34.4 to land a Second Team All GMAC citation.

Dalton Gleeson came in 28th in 25:48.4, and Jaden Wimbush was 39th in 26:20.5.

Other top finishers for TU included Anthony Sasso (59th), Ryan Jensen (74th), Dylan Hammond (76th), and Joshua Bishop (80th).

Jacob Zinn was also named as the Elite 25 award recipient for the second consecutive year. The award is a conference honor for the top male GPA (sophomore or higher) competing at the championship.
