Charlton Rolle

Charlton Rolle enters his fourth year with the TU track and field program in 2021-22.

During Rolle’s tenure with Tiffin University, three GMAC conference records have been broken in the 100m, 200m, and 4x100m relays. A total of 54 men and women have also secured GMAC All-Conference selections. In 2019, the sprints group was crowned Division II National Champions in the 60m, 100m, and the 4x100m relay. The 60m and 100m dash group was also the nation’s premier sprints group, ranking first in the USTFCCCA Event Squad Rankings during the 2018-2019 season. 

Rolle previously served as the Sprints, Hurdles, and Horizontal Jumps coach at Notre Dame College. Rolle led the program to its first Men and Women’s NCAA Division II Championship appearance in the sprints and long jump events.  While at Notre Dame College, Rolle mentored 12 school record-breaking performances, eight Mountain East Conference Champions, six NCAA DII Atlantic All-Region selections, and two National Qualifiers.

Rolle was a two-time All-American hurdler at the University of Tennessee and Clemson University. Rolle ranks in the Top 10 All-Time in the 110m hurdles at the University of Tennessee and earned 3 South Eastern Conference and 3 Atlantic Coast Conference honors. Rolle also competed in two United States National Championships.

Rolle was also an eight-time All-American Hurdler in high school.

Rolle is a native of Winston-Salem, N.C., and graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.
