Erin Perkins

Erin Perkins joins Tiffin University for the 2020-21 season as the men’s and women’s Assistant Throws Coach specializing in coaching the hammer, weight, and javelin events.
 
Prior to Tiffin, Perkins was the assistant throws coach at Minnesota State University during the 2019-20 season. While there, she helped lead the men's team to an NSIC Championship title, coached four women over 18 meters in the weight throw, coached three All-Americans in the weight throw, and coached one All-American in the shot. 
 
As a student-athlete, Perkins competed in the women's hammer and weight throw at Auburn University, where she earned All-SEC honors in 2018 as an SEC medalist in the hammer throw and competed at NCAA first rounds in 2018 and 2019. Prior to Auburn, Perkins competed at Winona State University, where she earned NCAA DII All-American honors during 2016 and 2017 in the women's hammer throw. Perkins received Academic All-American honors each year of competition as well as appearing on the SEC Academic Honor Roll in 2018 and 2019.
 
In 2019, Perkins graduated with Honors from Auburn University, receiving a Bachelors of Education in Physical Activity and Health. She is now is completing her masters in Physical Education: Coaching of Sport from Southwest Minnesota State University.
