Two provisional marks highlight flurry of winners at Tiffelberg Open

Two provisional marks highlighted a flurry of winners for the men's track and field squad at the Tiffelberg Open.

Collin Jasin hit an NCAA provisional mark in winning the pole vault with 5.10 meters, while Jacob McPherson also hit a provo mark in the hammer throw with a toss of 56.93, good for second place.

In the track events, Nathaniel Ondracek was a winner in the 1500 in 4:05.11, while Seth Andres won the 110 hurdles in 15.15. Kyron Rogers was also a track champ in the 200 meters in 22.25.

The 400 relay team of Kyron Rogers, Tajarie Arthurton, Simeon Hunter, and Malachi Adams also posted a win in 41.95. Taking second was the team of Dean Johnson, Stephen Powell, Gabriel Maximo, and Darius Thomas in 43.75.

TU also dominated the field events. Elijah Miller took first in the long jump with 6.40 meters, while Dorian Holida also won the triple jump with 13.84. Benedict Draghi was a double winner, taking the shot put with 15.86 meters while also winning the discus with 50.33 meters.

Taking second was Dalton Gleeson (1500 in 4:05.68), AJ Neal (110 hurdles in 15.26), Kelan Mayberry (200 in 22.46), Malachi Frimpong (long jump with 6.36m), Noah Bitter (pole vault with 4.80m), Garrett Hoepf (high jump with 1.85m), and John Casper (discus with 48.15m).

Posting third-place marks were Jaylen Lasseter (1500 in 4:06.08), Anthony Sasso (400 in 52.09), Dean Johnson (400 hurdles in 59.10), Cade Carter (pole vault with 4.80m), and Brock Carlson (shot put with 14.66m).
