Dragons Participate in Day One of Myrtle Beach Bash

The Tiffin University men's track and field team competed at the Myrtle Beach Team Bash.

Tiffin was tied with Lock Haven for first place after day one with 13 points while Central State was right behind with 10.

Lucas Lynch won the 400-meter run with a time of 51.66.

Nathaniel Ondracek took first in the 5000-meter race with a time of 14:43.91.

Josiah Gadson finished second in the long jump with a leap of 7.02 meters and Dorian Holida was seventh with a mark of 6.72 meters.

Kyron Rogers finished eighth in the 100-meter dash prelims with a time of 11.14.

Anthony Sasso came in sixth in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:59.99.

The quartet of Sasso, Hammond, Lasseter, and Jensen finished fourth in the 4 x 800 relay with a time of 8:09.45.

Tiffin did well in the hammer throw as Jacob McPherson came in third with a provisional mark of 57.75 meters, Benedict Draghi was fourth with a mark of 52.69 meters, John Casper finished fifth with a throw of 52.55 meters, and Vincent Volpe came in sixth with a mark of 51.43 meters.
