Men’s Track and Field Participate in the Jud Logan Open

The Tiffin University men's track and field squad competed in the Jud Logan Open hosted by Ashland at the Niss Athletic Center.

The Dragons fared well in the weight throw with three athletes hitting NCAA DII provisional marks. Jacob McPherson took second with a throw of 19.73, John Casper in third with a mark of 19.37, and Benedict Draghi finished fifth with a throw of 18.90.

Two Dragons came in the top five in the shot put with Jacob McPherson in third with a mark of 17.18 (an NCAA DII provisional mark) and Benedict Draghi finishing fifth with a mark of 16.19.

Collin Jasin did well in the pole vault with a mark of 5.15 meters, an NCAA DII provisional mark, and teammate Noah Bitte hit an NCAA DII provisional mark as well with a vault of 4.98.

Dalton Gleeson came in sixth in the 5000 meter run with a time of 15:15.05.

Malachi Adams came in fifth in the 60-meter dash with a time of 6.80.

Dorian Holida took fifth in the triple jump with a mark of 13.40.

Michael McNeil finished seventh with a time of 22.10.

The relay team of Nickerson, McNeil, Lasseter, Ondracek, Runco, and Gleeson finished fourth in the 4000 DMR with a time of 10:05.28.

Garrett Hoepf came in ninth in the high jump with a leap of 1.85 meters.
