Tiffin University's men's outdoor track and field team had another strong showing at the Walsh Invitational but dropped slightly to 13th in the latest national rankings.

Angelo State is the top-ranked team in the nation with 183.16 points, followed by Grand Valley State with 161.56 and West Texas A&M with 144.49. TU was 13th with 80.94 and was the highest ranked G-MAC school.   

Tiffin was the preseason favorite to win the G-MAC outdoor championship, and recently finished 3rd at the NCAA Indoor National Championships.

Tiffin is 2nd in the Midwest Region behind the Lakers, and are also tops in the G-MAC. They have numerous Top 10 individual events, with Nikolas Curtiss (2nd in shot put) and Tristen Durr (2nd in hammer throw) leading the pack. Errik Snell is 4th in the 110 hurdles, as is Davis Bowers in the pole vault. Toryko Grace ranks 6th in the discus, and Quincy Scott is 7th in the long jump. Just outside the Top 10 are Scott in the 100 meters (11th) and Tyler Stuber in the triple jump (14th).
