Dragons compete at Saginaw Valley Open

Tiffin University competed at the  Saginaw Valley State Open, with the men's team hitting three provisional marks and four 1st place finishes.
 
Jonte Baker led the Dragons while posting an NCAA provisional mark in the 60m race, as he won the event with a time of 6.76. He was followed in second place by Tajarie Arthurton, who posted another provisional mark with a 6.88. Errik Snell won in the 60 meter hurdles with a provisional mark of 8.11.
 
Josh Jaster won in the 1-mile run, posting a time of  4:29.95, and Cameron Burrows won in Heptathlon with 3870 points. Baker also finished second in the 200m (21.85), Nathaneal Wilson placed second in 60m hurdles (8.38), and Davis Bowers also brought a second place for the Dragons in the pole vault with a clearance of 4.71m.
 
Other Dragons finishing strong were Stephen Korir (3rd in the 3000m) and Arthurton (3rd in the 200m).
 
Tiffin's relay team placed 2nd in the 4x400m relay as the team of Zachary Antonio, Brandon Lynn, Isaiah Robinson, and Drew Hickman posted a time of 3:19.75.
