Tiffin University's men's soccer program has announced its 2022 varsity and reserve schedules.
The Dragons (6-8-4, 5-5-4 GMAC) look to be in the hunt for the conference title and a return trip to NCAA regional action with a slate of games that feature 14 conference and 2 nonconference matchups.
TU opens its season with nonconference games at Saginaw Valley State Sept. 2 and Davenport Sept. 4. They then open their GMAC season on the road with trips to Trevecca Nazarene Sept. 8 and Kentucky Wesleyan Sept. 10. TU comes home for the first time on Sept. 15 with a 3 pm game against Ashland and follows it up with two more home games against Cedarville Sept. 17 at 2 pm and Walsh Sept. 22 at 3 pm. After traveling to Findlay on Sept. 24, TU finishes September with a home game against Ohio Dominican Sept. 29 at 3 pm.
TU travels to Cedarville on Oct. 1 before coming home to play Lake Erie Oct. 6 at 3 pm. Another road trip happens on Oct. 8 as TU takes on new conference member Northwood, then a trip back home to play Findlay Oct. 13 at 3 pm. On Oct. 15 TU travels to Ohio Dominican, tangles with Malone on Oct. 20, then comes home for its final regular season home game on Oct. 25 against Northwood at 2 pm. The GMAC tournament begins on Oct. 29.
The reserves, meanwhile, play a full schedule of 16 games including 8 home games.
The Dragons open with road trips to Findlay Aug. 29 and Malone Aug. 30 before swinging into September with a road trip to Northwestern Ohio on Sept. 6. They play at home on Sept. 12 against Ashland at 4 pm. Two more road trips occur on Sept. 14 at Cedarville and Sept. 19 at Walsh before coming home to play the first of four straight home contests - Sept. 20 Northwestern Ohio at 4 pm, Sept. 26 Lake Erie at 4 pm, Sept. 27 Wittenberg at 4 pm, and Oct. 3 Malone at 4 pm.
After traveling to Wittenberg on Oct. 10, TU comes home to play Cedarville Oct. 12 at 1 pm. Road trips to Ashland on Oct. 17 and Lake Erie on Oct. 18 are followed by two final games at home against Findlay Oct. 21 at 4 pm and Walsh Oct. 24 at 4 pm.
