Tiffin University (3-3, 3-3 GMAC) posted one of its biggest wins of the season, battling back to knock off Lake Erie 3-2 in overtime on a cold and windy day at Paradiso Fields.

The Dragons got off on the wrong foot when Lake Erie scored a surprise goal just two minutes into the game off a corner kick and jumped out to a 1-0 lead.

That lead held up for nearly the entire first half but the Dragons saved a surprise for the Storm when Mohamed Abusaiid knocked a rebound of his own shot past Lake Erie's Tom John with just 13 seconds left in the half to send TU into halftime tied 1-1.

Tiffin then took its first lead in the 62nd minute when Juan Rosique drilled home an unassisted goal to go ahead 2-1.

Lake Erie equalized in the 69th minute, and neither team could end it in regulation despite both sides having opportunities.

Tiffin then won the game in dramatic fashion, as Caleb Gibbons took Mounir Boutarfa's pass and placed it just inside the right post underneath John's grasp to end the contest.

Overall both teams matched each other in shots 9-9 while TU held a 4-2 edge in corner kicks.

Declan Lehman got the win in goal, making 3 saves over 99 minutes, as TU's defense allowed just 5 shots on goal in the hard-fought game.
