Tiffin University outshot Cedarville but came away with a tough 1-0 loss in a GMAC road matchup.
The Dragons held a 12-6 shot edge over the Yellow Jackets, but the tough defenses on both sides limited the number of shots on goal. Tiffin managed just 3 shots on goal, and actually held Cedarville to just 2 shots on goal in the game. The Yellow Jackets held a 6-2 edge in corner kicks as well.
But it was Cedarville's last shot on goal that cost TU, as Mark Rowan took a pass from Sammy Kilimann and gave CU the game winner in the 81st minute.
Tiffin had only one shot on goal in the second half, as Joel Daly put a shot on target in the 54th minute but CU made the save.
Declan Lehman took the loss in goal for TU, making one save in 90 minutes.
