2020-21 Reserve Schedule
Tiffin University's men's soccer team will look to return to the NCAA Regionals in 2020, as the Dragons look forward to nine home games during their 2020 season.
The Dragons will look to start the season strong, with five of their seven September contests at home. After travelling to Illinois-Springfield on Sept. 6 for their opener, the Dragons return home for a pair of games on Sept. 11 and 13. TU will take on Saginaw Valley on Sept. 11 at 2 pm before tangling with Northwood on Sept. 13 at 2:30 pm in another big regional matchup.
TU then enters their GMAC season with a road game against Alderson-Broaddus Sept. 16 before coming home for the rest of the month. They take on Trevecca Nazarene Sept. 19 at 2:30 pm, then continue GMAC play against Malone Sept. 24 at 3:30 pm and Findlay Sept. 26 at 2:30 pm.
The Dragons then take to the road for four consecutive GMAC games. They battle Trevecca Nazarene Oct. 1 and Kentucky Wesleyan Oct. 3, then travel to Ohio Dominican Oct. 8 and Cedarville Oct. 10.
TU finishes their home regular season with four games beginning on Oct. 15 as they battle the Battlers of Alderson-Broaddus at 3:30 pm. TU then faces Ohio Valley on Oct. 17 at 2:30 pm, Walsh on Oct. 22 at 3:30 pm, and Lake Erie Oct. 24 at 2:30 pm.
Tiffin's regular season comes to a close on the road against Findlay Oct. 29 and Malone Oct. 31.
The GMAC Tournament will be held Oct. 7-14, while NCAA Regional competition begins Nov. 19.
Tiffin University (11-5-5) finished last year with their fifth appearance in the last seven seasons in the NCAA Super Region tourney. A strong finish to the Dragons season at the GMAC Tournament earned the Dragons admittance to the NCAA postseason, as the Dragons won the GMAC Tournament after entering as the fourth seed. The Dragons have also qualified for NCAA postseason play in both 2013, 2014, 2016, and 2018.
Tiffin's reserve team also has a healthy schedule of 17 games, with 9 home games scheduled. They take on Indianapolis (Aug. 21) and Bluffton (Aug. 31) at home in August, while also posting home games against Cedarville Sept. 10, Siena Heights Sept. 14, Defiance Sept. 21, and Notre Dame Sept. 22. After facing Northwest Ohio Oct. 5, they finish their home slate with Findlay Oct. 19 and Lake Erie Oct. 20.
